MMLC Spring Quarter Events

It's the final countdown until Kresge's renovation. In the meantime, the MMLC is gearing up for another wonderful quarter of events to send the building out in style. On the schedule we have two faculty workshops on Canvas, and the continuation of the popular World.Wine.Web series.

WildWords Dictionary Project Launches

Professor Elisabeth Elliott (Slavic Languages & Literatures) has launched a new course on Online Dictionaries. With the help of the MMLC, she and her students are creating an online dictionary project to collect and define Northwestern's unique vocabulary: NUDictionary. Students, faculty, and staff can contribute to the exciting WildWords dictionary.

Winter 'Face-to-Face Time'

The MMLC is extending the success of its popular "face-to-face time" office hours concept into Winter Quarter. In addition to scheduling an appointment with a member of the MMLC staff, you can simply drop by to meet with us during specified times we have already set aside for faculty for anything from project support, how to better learn online teaching tools, or just to chat.
